Girl's Girl
The Full Story
About
Today women face the risk of harassment, unwanted attention, and the potential for their drinks to be tampered with when they go out. 8% of college students have self-reported that they’d been drugged before. Of these people, 80% are women. This is just the root problem. Drink spiking is a crime that became a significant concern due to it facilitating sexual assault and other illegal acts against women. Take action and report your experience anonymously! Don’t let it happen to another girl as we are all a Girl’s Girl!

Founder
My name is Maya
Maya is from Chicago and active in her community through several leadership initiatives, performing arts, pageant competitions, and Model United Nations. She is driven by a strong interest in policy and the power of uniting communities to create positive change.
Maya founded this platform to address a critical yet often overlooked issue: safety for young women. After repeatedly hearing horrifying stories of young women having their safety compromised—whether during Spring Break vacations or in their everyday lives—she felt compelled to take action. To Maya, these young women were not strangers in a story; rather, they represented her friends, women she considered older sisters, and role models within her community.
It became clear to Maya that women are each other's strongest allies. With this in mind, she launched Girl’s Girl to empower young women to speak up, support one another, and create the strong, supportive community they deserve.
